Support Caroline Lewitt as she swims around Tondern Island to support local health care.
Swim Date: Friday August 16th, 2024 at 8am from the Beaumaris Yacht Club. ( Back up date:August 17th, 2024)
For the third year Caroline will be making the swim to raise funds for her cottage hospital.
“This will be the third year I am raising money by swimming around Tondern Island which is a large island in Beaumaris on Lake Muskoka. The route that I will swim is roughly 7-8 km long and I aim to complete it in under 3 hours. This year I would like to involve members of the community. Any and all members are welcome to join in for the swim for however long or short they wish! I am once again doing this swim in aid of the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for contributing to this cause that means so much to me, and to everyone who loves Muskoka.”
The South Muskoka Hospital Foundation relies on the generosity of donors in order to purchase urgently needed, life-saving equipment. It is only with donor support that our health care teams have the tools they need to diagnose and treat our patients.
