DAVID SMITH, Treasurer

Dave Smith is an established Broker, who has dedicated his entire professional career of over 30 years to the real estate, resort, recreation, and golf course industries in Muskoka. He most recently was involved with the successful development of the popular golf course and waterfront community on Bigwin Island in Lake of Bays and continues to be involved with the sales and marketing of its new and resale properties. Dave strongly believes in adding value to the services he provides to his clients, which allow them to deal with the many other issues that may come up when buying a waterfront property. Often a real estate transaction includes planning, renovation, construction, and other important issues that are critical to the success of a property sale or purchase. Project management experience with access to a network of professionals, contractors, trades, and other local authorities is invaluable. Dave is a strong believer that you must operate with honesty, integrity, transparency and in this industry be persistent. He also believes that it is important to be involved with your community and for the past 7 years is proud to have served on the Board of South Muskoka Hospital Foundation and is currently an Executive Director. Being a resident and business owner in Lake of Bays, also provides Dave with a vast amount of knowledge and experience of this region and allows him to leverage these assets on behalf of his client.
