Funds donated to SMH Foundation have provided a new, state-of-the-art infant isolette for the Family Care Unit at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Site. The $18,000 isolette, a specialized incubator, is used primarily for premature and/or jaundiced newborns providing regulated temperature, humidity and oxygen supply while monitoring the baby’s core temperature.
